Job Description :

The Lead Test Engineer is a developer in test responsible for managing overall testing for the project including design, development and maintenance of automated test, and various software test engineering activities.


  • Experienced in Agile onsite/offshore work model and coordination.
  • Ability to handle testing activities for multiple projects and to meet project deadlines.
  • Proficient in testing concepts, Java and/or Selenium he/she should be able to write test scenarios, test cases and automated test that validates the application functionality.
  • Should possess excellent verbal, written and analytical skills, able to interact with application development teams, business analysts/SME, business users and project managers to understand requirements and communicate status.

Must Have :

  • Minimum 5+ Years of experience.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage and lead overall testing activities for the project, track process, and report status and issues.
  • Develop test approach and automation strategy for functional and regression testing.
Develop, maintain and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, maintaining traceability to test cases.

  • Debug/troubleshoot issues and propose workaround solution.
  • Assist other team members.
  • Assist in review of test cases and test automation scripts.
  • Works closely with application development teams to understand how changes in the software product affect maintenance of test scripts.
  • Aligns risk and control processes into daytoday responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

Skills :

  • 58 years of software testing experience
  • 5 years of core java or Selenium Test NG automation experience
  • API automation using Rest Assured
  • Proficient in writing SQL queries
  • Agile experience
  • Understanding of CI/CD
  • Understanding of test management process and SDLC/STLC
