We are in search of a talented Infrastructure Principal Engineer to join our technology squad. The role? To craft cutting-edge products for our teams and devise solutions that back our tech and business innovations.

Our Infrastructure crew manages various domains such as Access & Identity Management, Linux Compute, Discovery, Networking, Observability, SDLC, & Storage, all supported by AWS. These serve as the backbone for our customer-facing financial tech platform. The team is instrumental, developing new services, automating systems, leveraging cloud & open-source software, and managing critical systems based on firm requirements.

This role is based in BLR/NCR.

Responsibilities

  • Show off your technical prowess, drive innovation, assess new tech, and shape the engineering teams' technical direction.
  • Contribute significantly to technical design and architecture choices, manage risks, make independent decisions when needed, and provide well-thought-out options for decision-making.
  • Set the example with top-notch code, documentation, and RFCs.
  • Initiate, develop, implement, and oversee R&D projects aligned with the team's vision, converting problems into solutions and operating autonomously as required.
  • Create systems and solutions that enhance crucial metrics like quality, cost, availability, scalability, and reliability.
  • Guide and empower engineers in your subdepartment while influencing the wider Technology organization.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant tech domain experience
  • Solid grasp of Kerberos, access and identity management, web technologies, and AWS
  • Skilled in configuring/developing tools and solutions for the infrastructure team with exposure to Linux and Kubernetes
  • Proficient in Java and Python, both writing and reviewing
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban when collaborating with distributed teams
  • Sharp technology insight, understanding of software engineering processes, web app development, and architectural intelligence
  • Excellent project management skills ensuring timely and quality solution delivery
  • Detail-oriented, team player with the ability to collaborate effectively
  • Apt at influencing various stakeholders and advocating for ideas
  • Strong analytical, reasoning, and communication skills
  • Quick learner with the ability to grasp new domains and deliver results
  • Experience in leading a team of highly skilled engineers
