Objective

We are looking for a professional who loves building user-friendly, engaging web product journeys/experiences and has a clear understanding of how design & technology improves web experience. She/he will work closely with the senior marketing/product managers and engineering teams. We are looking for someone who is passionate about solving user problems by using design and technology. The incumbent will be designing and implementing all experiences a user has when interacting with our web pages and on desktop/mobile screens. Will have to work closely with product managers to ensure seamless web/mobile design and successful implementation of UI/UX best practices and principles across all our digital platforms. Incumbent's primary responsibilities will be to work with business, agencies, marketing, and product managers on improving current web channel experience. Knowledge of how people use their devices, the flexibility to adapt to new technologies, and a keen eye for good designs and its technical implementation is key.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements into concepts, wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups that lead to intuitive user experiences for a wide range of devices and interfaces (mobile and desktop)
  • Understanding the business objectives and user's expectations and creating a common ground between the two
  • Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core/new features
  • Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate the designs
  • Contribute to delivery of future enhancements of the web platform
  • Support the development team for the design implementation
  • Manage Specifications (Design analysis and specifications for the implementation)
  • Develop and implement tactics for increasing usability and engagement of web app interface
  • Develop new user-facing features, ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Troubleshoot existing web applications with development team, CMS experience in Flutter/Drupal/WordPress will be an added advantage
  • Working knowledge of web programming will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge of modern HTML/CSS, Ability to work on Figma – Adobe XD etc.
  • Understanding of customer personas and mobile first design approaches/Progressive web apps (PWAs)

Key Skills

  • B.Sc in computer engineering, with Certification in UI/UX / HCI Certified will be preferable.
  • or more years of experience in managing UI and UX of web platforms. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing complex solutions especially in e-commerce or consumer finance industry.
  • creating prototypes using Adobe XD, Sigma or any similar interactive prototyping tool
  • experience in using UX principles to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design
  • analytical skills and the ability to understand, design and communicate a cohesive and consistent end-to-end user experience
  • knowledge of current web technologies, Content management systems – Drupal, Flutter, WordPress and others
  • clear understanding of the importance of user-centered design, Experience with customer life cycle management in digital area
  • to understand usage of new technologies in business context with focus to effective cost management
  • to communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions clearly and effectively
  • to collaborate and interact effectively with multiple levels
  • passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation. Research and showcase knowledge in the industry's latest trends and technologies.
