Department Overview The Business IT LAB is responsible for maintaining and operating the LAB network as per MSI standard procedures.

This LAB is used by development and Test team of Unified Communications for Product Engineering.

Job Description:

As an IP Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of Business LAB Network.

Your technical expertise will be essential in troubleshooting complex network issues and recommending improvements to enhance network performance and security.

Basic Requirements

Responsibilities:

Support all the development and Testing teams for LAB issues using a ticketing system and meet the SLA.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, using diagnostic tools and techniques.

Develop and implement network architecture designs that optimize performance, security and scalability.

Develop and maintain documentation of network designs, configurations and procedures.

Understand the lab requirements for different teams and accommodate required setups onPrem/ Azure. Accommodate all the teams within required constraints and utilizing the existing resources optimally.

Manage all the vendors and service providers to ensure timely and onscope delivery of hardware, software and services.

Ensure compliance with established network policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

Propose new processes or tools as required and implement the same. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Track all hardware resources and manage the asset life cycle as required.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

At least 6+ years of experience in IP networking.

Hands-on experience with network equipment from leading vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet etc.

Proven ability to design and implement complex IP networks solutions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present technical information to senior management.
