Understanding of PV inverters and arraysUnderstanding of UART, I2C, SPI, Power line, RF, and other communication technologyCodes and regulatory standards, especially those relevant to PV and communications (e.g., UL2743, IEEE 1547, IEEE 2030.5,SunSpec, UL 1741,IEC 62109etc.)Intermediateto advancedcoding capability for inverters and balance-of-system equipmentAbility to lead and deliver medium-largeprojects.
Integration experience of hardware,software,and firmwareExperience with Python automation scripting.Oversee the DVT execution plan and provide technical direction to the other DVT EngineersConduct Design verification test (DVT) to assure full coverage ofStorage (Portable)grid agnostic system design.
Troubleshoot the system failures encountered during DVT and analyze root cause for the failures.Work with development team to aid fixing the failures encountered during system DVT.Responsible for documentation of test plan and test reportsof complete system in JAMA and ArenaRead system DVT plan and files as well as system documents to aid troubleshooting during system DVT.
Database management for test results, test data analysis either manually or using python-based data analysis script in JAMA, JIRA and ArenaWho you are and what you bring:
BE/BTech with5+ years of experiencein Electrical/ElectronicengineeringorME/MTechwith3+ years of experience or PhDin Power Electronics or power system design/verification/testHands-on experience with electrical and electronics systemsGood understanding of basic electrical engineering concepts, including circuit theory and Electrical systemGood communication skillsAnalytical, decision making and leadership skills.
Ability to work effectively within a team.Desire and passion to change the world.
Understanding of energy storage, microgridand renewable energy systemsExperience in Inverter, UPS, Power Electronic circuits design and troubleshooting.
Hands-on Experience in handling the labelectronicequipment.
Knowledge in Lithium Ion based Energy storage systems, Battery management system.
Experience in grid tied inverter validation and advance grid profile functions.
Experience with using JAMA, JIRA and Arena project management tools.
