CAD Designer

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

  • Bachelor's or Certifications Minimum 2 year degree in ITI
  • Two to three years of related professional experience utilizing CAD software
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to think in a threedimensional manner
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks involving complex and varying problems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
    Responsibilities:
  • Ability to manage priorities and take on additional evolving responsibilities.
  • Complete assigned tasks on agreed quality, time and adhere to L&T quality procedures
    Profile Qualification:
  • Bachelors / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5year experience using AutoCAD, Revit, and Tekla structures.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in structural detailing, including reinforced concrete and steelworks detailing.
  • Experience with 2D and 3D modeling in the field of civil/structural engineering and Infrastructure projects
  • Experience in Quantity scheduling, attribution, 2D drawings extraction from 3D model.
  • Perform internal check to the discipline models.
  • High proficient in Autodesk Revit. Knowledge in other Autodesk products like Navisworks, Civil 3D, Plant 3D and Infraworks is preferable.
  • Must have an indepth working knowledge of current CAD & BIM versions.
  • Working knowledge and proficiency with the following: Collaboration and data management solutions: BIM 360, Navisworks, 3D/BIMenabled quantity take off and BIMenabled estimating tools.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, workflows, data formats and interoperability techniques.
