Safeguarding of Client Assets and Funds (SCAF)**
Location: B angalore**
Role Description
The SCAF CoE team provides a central oversight and advisory function for interpretating and implementing the MiFID II Client Assets (SCAF) rules.
The SCAF CoE team is part of the Global Client Assets Group within IB & Cross Product Operations, and oversees systems and controls in place to comply with the SCAF requirements.
SCAF CoE team tracks and monitors the effectiveness of controls, and for maintaining the associated governance structure.
As part of this role, you will assist with the implementation and management of a SCAF oversight framework, and enhance and embed a strong risk-management structure.

Your key responsibilities
- Design, develop and implement efficient control processes within Operations to ensure compliance with MiFID II SCAF regulations
- Coordinate across stakeholder groups, Monthly MI, SCAF Resolution Pack, development of management information and management of governance forums

- Providing technical advice on SCAF compliance to businesses and support functions, while promoting regulatory awareness throughout the firm
Your skills and experience
- Experience of working in operational / regulatory functions within a financial services firm, including knowledge of fronttoback trade flows and the management of control processes
- Strong analytical & data interpretation skills, with experience of managing large datasets (including advanced Excel skills)
- Understanding of the regulatory environment, and knowledge of Client Assets regulations would be beneficial
- Strong communication and influencing skills with stakeholders
- Proven selfstarter who shows attention to detail, meets deadlines and works well in a team
