As we continue to expand our retail presence, we're seeking a talented and strategic Retail Merchandiser to join our team and play a vital role in driving sales and creating a captivating shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Buying and Retail Teams to understand product assortments, store layouts, target audiences, and sales performance across different locations.
  • Develop strategic product placement plans that maximize sales, optimize inventory levels, and create a visually compelling shopping experience.
  • Allocate merchandise to individual stores based on sales forecasts, customer demographics, regional trends, and overall brand strategy.
  • Analyze sales data and reports to identify placement trends and optimize product positioning for future seasons.
  • Work closely with Visual Merchandisers to ensure product placement aligns with overall store aesthetics, promotional campaigns, and brand storytelling.
  • Maintain clear and organized product displays that are consistent with brand guidelines.
  • Monitor stock levels and identify potential stockouts or overstocked items, working with the Buying Team to ensure timely replenishment.
  • Assist with visual merchandising tasks as needed, such as creating window displays or setting up mannequins.
  • Stay up-to-date on current trends in retail merchandising and best practices for product presentation.
  • Prepare reports and presentations summarizing placement strategies and their impact on sales performance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Retail Merchandiser in the fashion retail industry, preferably in the women's wear segment (experience with Indian designer brands a plus).
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, customer behavior, and visual merchandising principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights for product placement strategies.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Keen eye for detail and a passion for creating visually appealing and customer-centric store environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various teams.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
