Job DescriptionAbout the Role: This position involves overseeing EHS compliances and safety protocols within the country.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:People Management
- Lead role in ensuring EHS compliance nationwide
- Responsible for overseeing EHS training and development
- Facilitate training programs for managers, employees, and contractors
- Implement consequences for non-compliance
- Drive training for senior management
Process Management
- Provide EHS input for long-term safety culture improvement
- Advise site management on EHS issues
- Ensure data accuracy and legal compliance
- Develop emergency response training plans
- Implement new EHS initiatives
Performance Management
- Set and achieve EHS KPIs
- Ensure compliance with EHS protocols
- Manage EHS department budget
- Support EHS improvement projects
Functional Specific Management
- Conduct field observations and inspections
- Manage EHS audits
- Provide expertise during CAPEX projects
- Support Crisis Management Team if needed
- Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Safety or related field
- Experience: 5-8 years with managerial experience
- Strong knowledge of EHS industrial compliance
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Proactive and flexible to change
- Ability to work independently
- Leadership and problem-solving skills
- Experience in Incident Investigation
