Purpose of the JobLead System level Design Verification and Validation for Mainline Signalling projectsDefine, develop scripts, execute automatic\manual testsDefine, assemble, validate, perform and troubleshoot FIVPConduct CFAT, SAT and support site level issuesOrganisation ReportingHierarchical Reporting:
Mainline V&V Group Manager

Functional Reporting:
Project V&V Manager / ETCS Trackside Sub-system ManagerAccountable for:Overall delivery of the V&V scope of work for assigned projectAchievement of Quality, Cost and Delivery targets for the teamTraining and guiding V&V team for effective delivery of the projectResponsible for:Lead project Kick-off meetings, understand the project requirement and identify verification and validation scope of the projectSupport V&V Manager in defining Project V&V Strategy, Project V&V PlanPlan and assign tasks/activities to the V&V team as per the WBS keeping project QCD requirements in mindDefine, assemble, validate, perform and troubleshoot FIVPDevelop Test procedure based on Functional requirements & prepare Test scripts (preferably with


based on test procedureCarry out manual testing or execute Automation test scripts, analyse the results / logs and generate test reportReport any defects found during the V&V activities, make sure that corrected CRs are closed after verificationRaise technical or delivery related risk to V&V ManagerTake ownership of the tasks in hand, Conduct CFAT, SAT and support closing site level issuesDemonstrate agility and flexibility by working on or switching between multiple projectsKnowledge & ExperienceBachelors in Engineering (electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Communication)> 10 years of experience in Railway Signalling projectsWorking experience in Smart / computer based / Inteligent interlocking projectsHands-on with interpreting Scheme Plan, Circuits, Control tables etc.

Strong technical background with knowledge of Signalling principles, testing & commissioning of railway signalling projects (Metro or Mainlines)Good Communications and interpersonal skillsTime management, reportingBasic IT Skills such as MS Office, Excel Functions / Macro, VBA scripting.
