What Does Success Look Like

An Accounts Payables Analyst or Senior Analyst you will be responsible for managing and processing a company's outgoing payments. This role involves verifying and reconciling invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payment of vendor bills, maintaining detailed records of financial transactions, and analyzing expense reports. Additionally, you will work to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts payable, collaborate with other departments to streamline payment processes, and may assist in financial reporting and audits. Senior Analysts will handle more complex tasks, provide guidance to junior staff, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

What You'll Do

Candidate should maintain confidentiality in vendor related contracts, agreementswhile dealing with external stakeholders. Knowledge of end-to-end AP processing including treatment of credits, advances, etc. Purchase requisition & Purchase order management and addressing the issues in atimely manner, making follow up for pending POs. Timely & Accurate Invoice Processing (both PO based and Non-PO based). Ensure timely remittance vendor payments, set up payments on bank portal, etc. Prepare or review AP journal entries and monthly fluctuation analysis. Vendor management, vendor reconciliation, keeping the vendor records up to date,correctly & timely in ERP. Assist in month/quarter/year-end close activities. Support / ownership on reporting requirements like Form 1099, MSME outstandingpayments related to Vendors, etc. Monthly vendor analysis. Audit support and ensure timely completion. Monitor and respond to vendor queries through /email/phone and make follow up Should possess knowledge on TDS/WHT, GST. ERP knowledge in managing the vendors, payments application, report extraction, etc.

Documentation:

Manage spreadsheets, activities as per SOP / instructions. Create, update, review and maintain documentation related to processing policies andprocedures.

Reconciliations:

Vendor reconciliations for Accounts payables, Invoice vs Purchase orders & otherbalance sheet accounts including invoice / PO accruals, etc. Support all internal and external audits related to Accounts Payable & employeeexpenses.

What Makes You Qualified

Knowledge on Global GST plan accounting is an added advantage. Professional knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word & PPT. Ensure that all the statutory requirements are met as per the local authorities Normally receives little instruction on daily work, general instructions on newlyintroduced assignments. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Experience with accounts payable processes and procedures. Extensive experience in managing and processing accounts payable transactions. Proven track record of ensuring accuracy and timeliness in vendor payments. Proficiency with financial software systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks). Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting. Excellent analytical abilities to identify discrepancies and implement process improvements. Strong problem-solving skills to resolve payment and reconciliation issues. High level of accuracy in processing financial transactions. Diligence in maintaining detailed and organized financial records. Capability to handle more complex tasks and transactions. Experience in providing guidance and mentorship to junior staff. Leadership in process improvement initiatives and project management. Experience: Typically requires a minimum of 3 - 5 years of related experience.
