Material Handler

Job Title:
MaterialHandler/Forklift Operator

Duration: 6 Months

JobResponsibilities:

Pick/Pack customer andmanufacturing orders to conform with order instructionstransportation regulations and department SOPs.
Load allfreight on carriers in accordance with Shipping and manifestreports and Bill of Lading Unload truck and palletize allincoming
materials and store/delivers to appropriatearea/individual.
Visually identifies and inspectsincoming materials for accuracy and condition prior to signingreceipt documents.
Enters computerized receiptinformation into MRP system where applicable Controls handles andstores manufacturing components raw materials
chemicalsfinished goods instrumentation and hazards materials from receiptto issue.
Maintains inventory accuracy proper storage ofmaterials by status and ensures that all materials are moved on atimely basis

Skills Required:
Relatedexperience in a distribution related environment and a GMPenvironment is required.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs isrequired. Experience operating a fork lift truck pallet jack andother material handling equipment.
Experience workingwith SAP is preferred.
This position requires ability towork overtime hours when required.
Physical & WorkCondition Demands.

Must be able to work for periods oftime at temperatures as cold as 20 C while wearing appropriate PPEwhen required.

Must be capable of significant physicallabor.
Must be capable of operating in a fast paced teamwork environment.
Must wear company issued uniform andsafety shoes Must be willing to rotate through all functional areasof Distribution:
Shipping Receiving andWarehousing.
Must be able to operate a fork lift truckand willing to participate in the safety drug screening program.
Must be able to work overtime as required.

Schedule:

Thenormal hours for this position will be 8:30am 4:30pm.
Overtime will be required as needed.
