Working as a hands-on engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data infrastructure and pipelines for handling large volumes of data in a corporate banking environment Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, business analysts, and software engineers, to understand business requirements and design efficient data solutions. Optimize and tune data processing and ETL workflows to ensure high performance and reliability Work with various data storage and processing technologies Develop and maintain data pipelines for real-time and batch data processing Identify and resolve data quality issues and ensure data accuracy and consistency Should be able to work independently or with minimal guidance. Develop and implement data models, algorithms, and statistical methods to drive data-driven decision making and improve business processes. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in data engineering and data science.Your skills and experience
6-12 years' experience developing on large scale IT projects from inception to delivery Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field Strong experience in data engineering, with expertise in Python and SQL/PLSQL Hands-on experience in creating ETL pipelines. Experience with GCP or AWS or Azure Preferred to have knowledge on GCP services like CloudSQL, Airflow, Dataflow, Bigquery Good to have knowledge on terraform for cloud infrastructure. Knowledge of Apache-beam will be added advantage. Must be familiar with CI/CD pipelines , github repositories and agile framework. Experience working with finance payment data sets in a corporate banking environment is highly desirable Experience with Data analytics or Datawarehouse project is a plus.
