We are looking for a Data Quality Analyst with sharp attention to details and solid experience to join our data management team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of data across different systems and platforms. This position involves conducting assessments to identify data quality issues, implementing measures to enhance data quality, and collaborating with diverse teams to elevate data quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Quality Assessment:
    • Execute regular assessments to pinpoint data quality issues and areas for enhancement.
    • Utilize data profiling and quality tools to scrutinize data sets and detect anomalies.
  • Data Cleansing and Standardization:
    • Establish and execute processes for data cleansing and standardization to uphold data accuracy and consistency.
    • Collaborate with data stewards and IT teams to rectify data quality problems and preserve data integrity.
  • Data Quality Monitoring:
    • Develop and maintain metrics and dashboards to oversee data quality performance.
    • Monitor data quality trends and advancements, reporting them to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Data Quality Improvement:
    • Work closely with data owners, stewards, and IT teams to implement plans for enhancing data quality.
    • Suggest and enforce best practices and standards for data quality organization-wide.
  • Data Governance:
    • Support the Data Governance team by ensuring adherence to data quality policies and procedures.
    • Engage in data governance projects to foster a culture of data quality across the organization.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Document data quality issues, improvement plans, and processes for enhanced knowledge sharing.
    • Generate regular and on-demand reports regarding data quality status and enhancements.
  • Training and Support:
    • Provide training and assistance to data users on best practices and tools for data quality.
    • Help raise awareness about data quality issues and advocate for data quality standards.
Required Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 2 to 5 years of experience in data quality management, data analysis, or a related field.
    • Demonstrated experience with data profiling tools such as Informatica, Talend, IBM InfoSphere.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in SQL and data profiling techniques.
    • Experience with various data quality tools and software.
    • Familiarity with data governance tools and practices.
    • Understanding of ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Exceptional analytical and problemsolving skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work autonomously and in teams.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and accuracy.
