Pratt & Whitneys Controls& Diagnostic Systems (CDS) is a dynamic engineeringorganization focused on the development certification andmaintenance of aircraft engine control and diagnostic systems andsoftware.

The software department at the India Engineering Center(IEC)s focus is on supporting and owning sections of the controland prognostic software development test and certificationactivities.

We are seeking highly motivated team oriented andresults driven engineers to join the India Engineering CentersControl and Diagnostic Systems organization.

The softwaredevelopment follows both Agile and waterfall approaches.

The qualified candidate will be responsiblefor:
Play acritical role in safety critical aerospace software development andverification to DO178B/C standardsManagesoftware artifacts change using configuration and change managementtoolsDevelopment of high level and low levelrequirements software design using MATLAB/SimulinkDevelopment of high level andlowlevel software verification artifacts including structuralcoverage analysis and gap closureCreateproblem reports for all failed test cases and issues identifiedwith the productSupport a conduct root causeanalysis and corrective and preventative actions for escapes orimpactful turnbacksParticipate in SOIactivities with P&WASupport programmanagement team and customer status reviews whenrequiredParticipate in process and toolimprovementinitiatives

EducationBE in Electronicsand Communication Avionics or Electrical EngineeringPreferred.

Experience/QualificationsMinimum of 3 years of relevant experience in safety criticalcontrol system and software development /verification.
Experience with Matlab/Simulinkor SCADE toolsets for software designSolidtrack record of achieving results in a technicalroleAbility to work in a dynamic highpressure and flexible engineering environmentPrior experience developing software in an Agile or waterfallframeworkPrior safety critical softwaredevelopment / verification experienceKnowledge of regulatory standards such asDO178BCExcellent cross disciplinecommunication skillsFamiliarity with jetengine control and diagnostic system and control logic design andtest is a plus
