Job Description:


We are seeking highly skilled Structural Engineers based offshore, who have extensive experience in wood frame seismic structural projects compliant with California engineering standards.

The successful candidates will work remotely under the supervision of a U.S.-based Professional Engineer (PE) acting as the Engineer of Record (EOR).


Key Responsibilities:
Design and analyze wood frame structures ensuring compliance with California's seismic codes and regulations.
Prepare detailed structural engineering drawings and specifications.
Collaborate with the U.S.-based PEs (professional licensed engineers) to review designs, modifications, and resolutions of technical issues.
Perform structural calculations and provide solutions that optimize costs without compromising safety.
Ensure all project documentation meets U.S. standards and client requirements.
Participate in project meetings and provide technical insights and updates.
Continuously update knowledge on California seismic regulations and engineering best practices.

Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in wood frame seismic structural engineering for California or similar seismic regions in the U.S.
Strong understanding of California building codes and seismic regulations.
Proficiency in structural engineering software and tools recognized in the U.S. market.
Excellent communication skills with fluency in English, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate remotely with a U.S.-based team.
Willingness to work in alignment with U.S. business hours as needed for project collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:
Prior remote work experience for U.S.-based clients on similar projects.
Experience working under a US PE (professional engineer)
