Overview & Role Details:

  • Join the vital Data Privacy & Protection (DPP) unit within SAP's Business Technology Platform (BTP).
  • Enhance your skills as a full-stack cloud native developer through the design, coding, testing, and quality assurance of intricate product features in the DPP portfolio, working with cutting-edge technologies in an innovative setting.
  • Familiarize yourself with the underlying cloud platform runtime and adaptability to build and develop cloud applications on Cloud Foundry | Kubernetes platform/runtimes.
  • Contribute actively to a cohesive cross-functional scrum team responsible for designing, developing, operating, and managing cloud native applications and handling clients and stakeholders.
  • Participate in an agile environment, promoting collaborative efforts towards a common team objective.
  • Shoulder complete ownership of tasks, showcasing exceptional levels of Quality, Agility, Reliability, and Efficiency.
  • Collaborate effectively as a team player, striving towards a unified vision of delivering cutting-edge cloud native applications to our clientele.
  • Demonstrate a proactive and positive attitude towards challenges.

Role Prerequisites:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or related disciplines.
  • 1-4 years of software engineering experience with a strong grasp of cloud principles and technologies.
  • Enthusiasm for acquiring knowledge about new products and technologies.
  • Proficiency in software development, debugging, and deployment.
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented concepts.
  • Proficient in Core Java, JEE, Node JS, SpringBoot, JSON, UI5, REST/ODATA, and any relational database (HANA, MySQL).
  • Effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, collaborative nature, and self-motivated approach.

Extra skills that would be advantageous include familiarity with Cloud Foundry, K8S, OpenAPI Specification (Swagger), JavaScript, Ajax, CAP, Olingo, as well as a working understanding of DevOps and CI/CD Delivery concepts.
