Overview PepsiCo GBS function is institutionalizing a Digital Factory to optimize its processes, services, and experiences. To start with, this Digital Factory will consist of an Automation Factory and a Reporting Factory. They will jointly work with other stakeholders to rationalize, optimize, re-imagine, and automate processes and reports across Sales, Operations/ Supply Chain, HR, and Marketing & Insights.

The Technology Enablement team is established to support Digital Factory with Solution Architecture, setting up standards, security assessments, connecting with the relevant IT application teams, provisioning standard platforms, and other Release management activities.

This role will be accountable for the technology enablement of the Digital Factory.

This technology leader must work across IT functions spanning Cloud Engineering, Information Security, Platform Engineering and Provisioning, Sector and Global CIO and Product Teams to ensure the delivery of the GBS digital solutions.

This will require an organization-savvy individual to build and lead this global matrixed organization.

As the Global IT single point of contact for the GBS Digital factory, this leader will possess a solid executive presence, strategic thought leadership, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Global IT agenda in support of the Digital Factory implementations
  • Lead Digital Factory Tech enablement team to support Digital Factory with Global IT needs
  • Define and streamline processes, technology, information security and release management governance and documentation process for the Digital Factory
  • Single point of contact for GBS Digital Factory, coordinating with Sector CIO team, Solution Architect, Infrastructure etc. and ensuring SLA and product delivery timelines and standards are met
  • Partner with Global IT team to design and implement a consistent, nimble and scalable architecture solution and other enablers (, infrastructure, Tech stack, API)
  • Set expectations and continuously refine Service Level Agreements for platform provisioning, environment setup etc.
  • Partner with Global IT leadership team to onboard next gen. integrated technologies to support Digital Factory re-imagine and digitization efforts
  • Be point for any Enterprise Technology audit follow-ups for the Digital Factory
  • Drive identification and build of the Solution Architecture patterns in support of accelerated build of the digital products
  • Review and support any use cases for non-standard implementation (, architecture, infrastructure)
  • Ensure PODs are adhering to the standard processes and Pep IT platforms
  • Monitor and track any Digital Factory technology related issues and prioritize them for rectification with Global IT teams
  • Escalation point for any key risks, issues or delays in platform provisioning, infrastructure and other technology components to Digital Factory Leader
  • Execute on the Global IT service catalog for the Digital Factory Qualifications
  • Degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, business, or a related field.
  • 20+ years of relevant experience in information technology(including significant breadth and depth experience in IT services), Business Engagement, Digital platforms and Solution delivery
  • Significant IT management experience, including client engagement, IT strategy, financial and operational planning, project staffing and planning, and project management experience.
  • Experience with building teams, envisioning and defining programs, and delivering projects
  • Global resourcing, matrix team management, and engaging a wide range of stakeholders across markets and technology functions
  • Team management and mentorship
  • Working knowledge of Agile, Dev Ops, and traditional SDLC methodologies
  • Ability to communicate technical and complex subject matter to leaders in business terms
  • Proven track record of building consensus among diverse stakeholders
  • Highly self-motivated individual capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Ability to listen and build rapport and credibility as a strategic partner vertically within the business unit or function, as well as with leadership and functional teams
  • Strategic thinker focused on business value results that utilize technical solutions
