Quantity Surveyor

Ark Builders is currently seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of project costs and resources while maintaining the highest standards of quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
• Develop and maintain accurate bills of quantities (BOQ) and bar bending schedules (BBS).
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to analyze project specifications and requirements.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess progress, identify variations, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Assist in the preparation of client billing and invoicing, including the verification of quantities and materials used.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations and negotiate competitive pricing.
• Monitor project expenditures, identify costsaving opportunities, and prepare cost reports for management review.
• Provide technical expertise and support to project teams on quantity surveying matters.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in preparing bar bending schedules (BBS) and bills of quantities (BOQ).
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment and meet tight deadlines.

Pay:
From ₹17,000.00 per month
