Job description

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and analyze complex business requirements, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of organizational needs. 2. Develop strategic and scalable Dynamics 365 solutions by defining system architectures, modules, entities, and relationships that align with business goals.

3. Lead the functional design process, translating business requirements into a cohesive and efficient design for Dynamics 365. Provide guidance to functional analysts and developers.

4. Ensure that Dynamics 365 configurations and customizations are aligned with the strategic design. Oversee the implementation of custom entities, workflows, and forms.

5. Develop and implement integration strategies for Dynamics 365, collaborating with technical teams to ensure seamless data flow between Dynamics 365 and other systems.

6. Define and implement strategies for effective data management, including data migration, cleansing, and maintenance within the Dynamics 365 environment.

7. Work to enhance user experience by configuring intuitive interfaces, streamlined processes, and customized dashboards within Dynamics 365.

8. Collaborate with technical architects, developers, and administrators to ensure the alignment of functional and technical aspects of Dynamics 365 solutions.

9. Serve as a point of contact for technical teams and business stakeholders, efficiently conveying intricate technical ideas in a way that makes sense for the business.

10. Oversee the quality assurance process for Dynamics 365 solutions, ensuring that configured functionalities meet business requirements and adhere to best practices.

11. Define and implement security measures within Dynamics 365 to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational policies.

12. Provide training and knowledge transfer sessions to business users, ensuring they are equipped to effectively use and maximize the benefits of Dynamics 365.

13. Keep yourself updated on developments in the field, emerging technologies, and Dynamics 365 updates. Aim to maximize the efficacy and efficiency of the system by suggesting and implementing ongoing changes.

14. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system architectures, design decisions, and best practices related to Dynamics 365 configurations and customizations. In summary, a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Functional Architect plays a critical role in defining the strategic design of Dynamics 365 solutions, overseeing their implementation, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
