Job Description

Managing COD by Optimizing Inbound & Outbound Delivery (E2E) to keep check on Total Delivered Cost. Drive Distribution Network Redesign, Logistics Excellence & Related projects in Delivery Transportation & Downstream warehouse operations. Ensure maintainence of Customer Order fulfilment (COF)/Ontime Infull (OTIF)/ZATP (Zero Availability to Promise) and reduce CD OOS & secondary OTRs. Ensuring compliance in cool chain management in downstream warehouse storage & transporation (from Distribution Center to Distributor). To study and Plan Secondary distribution network / Infrastructure basis Volume Progression as per OPL/MBS to ensure achieving required service levels at minimal distribution cost without any violation of distribution quality standards. Resolve any complains raised by the CDs related to any shortages / damages in the delivery. Take corrective action to resolve the complains. Identified and Lead DC improvement Projects (Manpower Productivity, MHE Utilization, DIDO/GIGO Improvement, Warehouse Utilization) & ensure best in class service levels with minimal business disruptions. Drive downstream improvement projects like Batch traceability projects in value chain, Reefer service strategy & Chilled service strategy. Prepare warehouse strategy, develop & ensure transition to new infrastructure for Downstream Warehouse in-line with Business requirement. Prepare Transport strategy along with T-Hub, develop and ensure onbaording of new carriers for downstream operations. Complete formalities and ensure recovery of accident claim for primary and secondary movements in case of accidents/loss. Support all Necessary business Process Excellence and Value Stream Engineering Design across DCs. Identify and support advance process improvement tools in down stream storage (WMS, Dock Management, RF Implementation). Identify and support advance process improvement tools in down stream transportation (Transporeon, In Transit Visibility, Digital Hygiene Checklist, LCOP, ERC, OVT, etc.) Ensure New Customer details are shared after aligning on CSP and logisticals requirement to ensure full supply. Ensure Transport related events are trigerrred on a real time basis, timely issuance of detention certificates. Vendor management and Ensure execution of agreement and formal communication with DC owner/CFA/Carriers.

The Successful Applicant

Must be from a top tier MBA college (Batches onwards preferred) Must be in a national logistics or a regional logistics role currently. Must have logistics operations, distribution planning and customer service operations experience. Ability to create and sustain credible long term relationships with suppliers and external stakeholders. Has demonstrated the ability to successfully lead projects and manage issues/crisis situations. Has demonstrated the ability to influence internal stakeholders & external stakeholders. Has successfully contributed in cross functional and cross market teams. Minimum 5 years of Logistics/Planning/Customer Service experience.
