Position details:

Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CMOD Administrator and Developer to join our dynamic IT team. In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, development, and enhancement of our IBM Content Manager OnDemand (CMOD) systems. You'll play a vital role in ensuring optimal performance, security, and integration of our critical document management and archival platforms.

Skills & Competencies:

  • CMOD Administration:
    • Minimum of 6+ years of hands-on experience with IBM CMOD administration (version 9.x and later).
    • Expertise in CMOD system configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
    • Proficiency in coding within CMOD development environments (e.g., Java, JavaScript, C++)
    • Install, configure, upgrade, and patch CMOD systems.
    • Monitor system performance, diagnose and troubleshoot issues, ensuring high availability.
    • Perform capacity planning, resource allocation, and system tuning.
    • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control policies in line with security best practices.
    • Design and implement backup and disaster recovery procedures.
    • Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL
    • Experience with content management and/or enterprise document management principles.
  • CMOD Development:
    • Develop custom reports, applications, and integrations using CMOD APIs and tools.
    • Design and implement workflows, automating business processes within the CMOD environment.
    • Collaborate with business users and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
    • Test and deploy code changes in a controlled manner, ensuring minimal disruption.
    • Experience in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell).
  • Documentation and Collaboration
    • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and user guides.
    • Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Train users on new features and best practices for leveraging CMOD.
