HyderabadAs a Senior Software Engineer, you will:
- Collaborate with QA and development teams to understand testing requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Design and develop automated test scripts using test automation frameworks and tools.
- Execute automated test scripts to verify software functionalities and uncover defects.
- Identify and document software defects and issues, working closely with developers to resolve them.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure that software changes and enhancements do not adversely affect existing features.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed test reports to stakeholders and the development team.
- Maintain and update automated test suites to keep pace with changes in software functionality.
- Work on continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate testing processes.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality and testability.
- Collaborate with manual testers to identify test scenarios suitable for automation.
- Stay updated with the latest testing tools, methodologies, and industry best practices.
- Strong proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or Cypress.
- Solid programming skills in languages like Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript for test script development.
- Familiarity with version control systems Git) and CI/CD tools Jenkins, TeamCity).
- Understanding of software testing methodologies, test case design, and defect tracking.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills to convey test results and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies is advantageous.
- Relevant testing certifications, such as ISTQB, are beneficial but not mandatory.
