About the Role:

The Technical Program Manager will be a key partner to the Chief Technology Officer, providing strategic and operational support to ensure the efficient execution of technology projects, fostering communication across teams, and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the technology leadership team.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Assistance in Decision Making:

  • Collaborate with the CTO in developing and executing strategic initiatives and technology roadmaps.
  • Assist in aligning technology goals with overall business objectives.

Project Management and Delivery:

  • Oversee and coordinate technology projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Work closely with project managers and team leads (AI Research, Data Engineering, Clinical Research, and Regulatory) to monitor project progress and mitigate risks.

Team Collaboration:

  • Help foster a collaborative, high-performance culture within engineering, product, and clinical teams.
  • Work with team leads to enhance cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Communication and Coordination:

  • Act as a liaison between the CTO and other departments, vendors, and external collaborators in facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  • Coordinate leadership meetings and ensure follow-up on action items.

Budget Oversight:

  • Assist in the development and management of the technology budget.
  • Monitor expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure financial goals are met.

Operational and Administrative Support:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of technology policies and procedures.
  • Oversight of operational and administrative matters necessary for the smooth functioning of the office

Talent Development and Organization Building:

  • Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to identify talent development opportunities within the technology team.
  • Support talent acquisition efforts and contribute to building a diverse and skilled workforce.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks in technology projects and work with relevant stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance of all activities with industry standards and regulations.

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Prepare regular reports and analyses on technology performance metrics.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D./Research Experience in deep learning / AI for medical imaging/healthcare/computer vision
  • Previous leadership experience in early-stage start-ups (Pre-Seed to Series A) in technology development (AI and general software development) and product-related roles
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align technology initiatives with business goals.
  • Familiarity with budget management and financial analysis.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices in AI, technology, and cybersecurity.
  • Leadership experience in talent development and team collaboration in technical teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Work experience in the medical imaging/ clinical/ healthcare industries is a plus.
  • Previous work experience as a data scientist or research engineer is a plus
