Senior Product Engineer - Embedded Systems

Job Profile : Senior Product Engineer - Embedded Systems

Work Location : Bengaluru, India.

Experience: 6 – 12 years. in Software Development in Automotive Embedded Domain.

Number of Position - 8

Job description:

In this role you will act as the local Technical Expert towards the customers in India for all queries related to Vector's products in the Embedded field, like MICROSAR, Flash Bootloader, DaVinci Tools, CANbedded, GENy, etc.

Typical tasks include:

Provide solutions to customer Technical Queries involving Vector's Embedded Products (Software Stacks & Configuration Tools) Front-end customer queries as Technical Expert until issue is resolved. Conduct joint debugging sessions with customer to understand/analyze the issue during Development, Production or Field issue. Opportunity to conduct classroom training for a batch of 18-20 participants on AUTOSAR Basic and Advanced Topics Handle Customer requested Assistance / Coaching for identified Area / Topic. Prepare and Deliver customized Integration Packages on individual Customer request based on selected Software modules, Target Derivative and Compiler

Desired Candidate Profile & Skills:

Education: B.Tech. /B.E. /M.Tech. - Computers, Electronics/Telecommunication from reputed institute with academic scores of throughout min. 60% without any backlogs.

Strong Development Experience in 'Automotive Embedded' Domain Strong Embedded Skills: 16/32-bit Architecture, RTOS & Bare-metal based Systems.

(Interrupts, Memory, Scheduler etc. Concepts)

Low-level Driver Understanding (esp. CAN and/or Communication Driver) Good Problem Analysis and debugging skills. Good Communication & presentation skills Good interpersonal skills (collaborative & team player) Good customer centricity Passion for Technology and Self-learning ability AUTOSAR Exposure Knowledge of basic Diagnostics UDS/OBD ISO Standards & Communication Protocols specific to Automotive Domain Expertise in Performance/Optimization issues Advanced Automotive Topics – Security, Safety, Ethernet, Multi-Core etc. Exposure to Vector embedded software & tools German Language skills
