Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Food and Beverage Service to join our team at our luxury Italian restaurant located in BKC, Mumbai. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will deliver exceptional service, uphold the highest standards of Italian fine dining, and contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Position - Food and Beverage Service ( Multiple Roles )

CTC upto 5-20 LPA

Location - BKC Mumbai

Preference - Someone from luxury 5 star fine dine italian restaurants

Qualifiucation - WSET is Must

Responsibilities:

  • Guest Service Excellence:
  • Provide warm, attentive, and personalized service to all guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the menu, including Italian cuisine specialties, ingredients, and preparation methods, to offer insightful recommendations and answer guest inquiries.
  • Anticipate guests' needs and preferences, proactively addressing any concerns or special requests with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Tableside Assistance and Presentation:
  • Set and maintain impeccably arranged dining tables, adhering to established service standards and protocols for fine dining.
  • Perform tableside food and beverage presentations, including wine decanting, dish descriptions, and special menu highlights, with poise and eloquence.
  • Execute flawless tableside service techniques, such as flambé, carving, and wine service, in accordance with the restaurant's guidelines and guest preferences.
  • Beverage Knowledge and Service:
  • Assist guests in selecting wines, cocktails, and other beverages from our curated list, offering guidance on pairings and flavor profiles to enhance their dining experience.
  • Execute beverage service with precision, including proper pouring techniques, glassware selection, and temperature control, to elevate the presentation and enjoyment of our offerings.
  • Collaborate with the sommelier and bartenders to maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and ensure the availability of desired beverages for guests.
  • Team Collaboration and Support:
  • Work collaboratively with fellow team members, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff, to ensure smooth service operations and timely delivery of orders.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen personnel to relay guest preferences, dietary restrictions, and special requests, facilitating seamless coordination and execution of food service.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment, including dining areas, service stations, and equipment, in compliance with hygiene and safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in food and beverage service within a luxury restaurant environment, preferably specializing in Italian cuisine.
  • Strong passion for Italian gastronomy, with knowledge of regional cuisines, ingredients, and culinary traditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently and courteously with diverse clientele.
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences through attention to detail, professionalism, and hospitality.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining composure and efficiency.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant's operational schedule.
