JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • In support of a large global pharmaceutical company, you will work as part of a dedicated team to assess the migration, modernization, and optimization of multiple diverse applications to AWS.
  • Existing applications are on-premises supporting specific business functions.
  • The candidate should be able to assess a proposed high-level future state architecture and make specific technical recommendations around DevSecOps and Testing tools and automation principles/pipelines that reflect and combine industry best practices and client's preferred tooling.
  • This role requires good teamwork, communication, and organizational skills as the candidate will be working as part of a highly visible dedicated team tasked specifically with analyzing the applications under review and requires some client interaction.
  • Specific skills desired include:
  • Broad AWS knowledge/expertise from an architectural perspective (not a hands-on role). AWS Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) beneficial.
  • Deep expertise in the DevSecOps area including DevSecOps best practices and a wide range of CI/CD, DevSecOps & Testing tools such as Jenkins, Cloud Bees, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
  • Expertise in Dec/Sec/Ops and Test automation principles and pipelines.
  • Ability to look at an AWS-based target state architecture (TSA) and recommend/apply architectural DevSecOps and Testing automation pipelines/enhancements using specific tools favored by the client.
  • Ability to articulate how DevSecOps and Testing automations features improve an application's cost/delivery/uptime metrics.
  • Ability to translate how Dev/Sec/Ops and Testing automations into client monetary value.
