Role Summary:

Responsibilities:

Videographer:

  • Plan and execute video shoots for educational content, tutorials, and promotional campaigns.
  • Operate and maintain video cameras, audio equipment, lighting setups, and other necessary gear for shooting.
  • Ensure highquality video and audio capture, proper framing, and lighting to enhance visual appeal.
  • Collaborate with instructors and content creators to capture lectures, demonstrations, and handson learning sessions.
  • Travel to various locations, both within and outside the academy, for onsite shoots and events, as required.
  • Gather and incorporate Broll footage to supplement educational videos and enhance storytelling.
  • Stay updated on videography trends, techniques, and equipment to continually improve video production capabilities.

Video Editor:

  • Edit raw footage into informative and visually engaging educational videos, adhering to the academy's brand guidelines.
  • Work closely with content creators and instructors to ensure that the video content aligns with educational objectives.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional videos to drive enrolment and showcase our academy's offerings.
  • Review and edit work based on feedback from content creators, instructors, and management.
  • Export videos in different formats suitable for online platforms and distribution channels.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Video Editor and/or Videographer, preferably in an educational setting or similar industry.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop [Intermediate level knowledge is enough in the case of photoshop]) and videography equipment.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing videography and video editing skills
  • Knowledge of educational pedagogy and an understanding of how to effectively present complex concepts through video.
  • Familiarity with motion graphics, animation, and visual effects is a plus.
