Job Description

  • Strong inter-personal and communication skills

  • Ability to identify tasks which should be automated and then write tools to automate them.
  • Solid understanding of the Linux/Unix based operations system.Ü System analysisü System performance tuningü Load BalancingAbility to program in at least 2 languages (shell, Perl, Ruby and Python)Solid understanding of networking.
  • Professional familiarity with Configuration Management Tools such as the following:Ø CFEngineØ PuppetØ ChefØ SaltØ Ansible/DockerUnderstanding of Virtualization/Oracle HyperV and the ability to manage virtual machines.
Understand enterprise monitoring tools and management frameworksUnderstanding of Incident Managment

  • Experience with professional change management processes and procedures.

Understanding and ability to work within a highly available environment, including but not limited to financial, government, and medical landscapes.


  • Familiarity with open source tools, bug tracking, resolution, and routine maintenance with security updates to alleviate potential exploits.
Knowledge and the ability to perform software installations/patching of operating systems.
Ability to perform system and file recoveries using the company standard backup solution.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Ensures that assigned infrastructure at the client site is configured, installed, tested, and operationalPerforms necessary checks, apply monitoring tools and respond to alertsIdentifies problems and errors prior to or when it occurs and logs all such incidents in a timely manner with the required level of detailAssists in analysing, assigning, and escalating support callsInvestigates third line support calls assigned and identify the root cause of incidents and problemsReports and escalates issues to 3rd party vendors if necessaryProvides continuous feedback to clients and affected parties and update all systems and/or portals as prescribed by NTTProactively identifies opportunities for work optimization including opportunities for automation of workCoaches L2 teams for advance technical troubleshooting and behavioural skillsMay manage and implement projects within technology domain, delivering effectively and promptly per client agreed upon requirements and timelinesMay work on implementing and delivering Disaster Recovery functions and tests

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in IT/Computing (or demonstrated equivalent work experience)

Certifications relevant to the services provided (certifications carry additional weightage on a candidate's qualification for the role)Relevant certifications include:
