In this role, you'll be involved in:
- Contributing to the adoption of DevOps practices and architecture within the organization.
- Leading discussions on industry standards and AWS DevOps offerings.
- Breaking down complex problems into simple solutions and understanding system dependencies thoroughly.
- Mentoring team members on technical issues and sharing knowledge to enhance productivity.
- Guiding technical and design dialogues to accelerate the implementation of new technologies.
- Acting as a subject matter expert on DevOps trends, technology offerings, and architectural concepts.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with at least 4 years in DevOps/Site Reliability Engineering.
- Proficiency in public cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools.
- Strong skills in cloud security, programming languages like Python, and automation of cloud-native technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD workflows, microservices, distributed applications, and serverless computing.
- Solid debugging capabilities in Windows and Linux environments, along with familiarity with Agile practices.
