The role will suit you if you are:

  • Data Security: Knowledge of different data security concepts; data loss, data duplication, data misclassification/mislabeling, data access, and data inaccuracies. Experience with data protection methods on various platforms and databases.
  • Incident Handling: Experience in critical trouble ticket management or incident case management. Understanding how to analyze situations to determine the appropriate escalation path or closure path within compliance and governance guidelines.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Experience in monitoring incident cases, generating reports, and identifying trends that can play into future incident strategies.
  • Compliance and Governance: Understanding of data governance principles and experience in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Govern Open Share folders, ensuring proper access controls and security configurations.
  • Monitor Open Share folder usage, storage capacity, and user activities to ensure compliance with data governance policies.
  • Coordinate the setup, modification, and termination of Open Share folders based on business requirements and user access needs.
  • Implement security best practices and protocols to safeguard sensitive data within Open Share folders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand access requirements and ensure appropriate permissions are assigned.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of Open Share folders to identify and address security vulnerabilities and access anomalies.
  • Provide user support, training, and documentation related to Open Share folder usage and best practices.
