Position Overview

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer who is passionate about technology and eager to contribute to a team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, a drive for excellence, and a knack for identifying opportunities for improvement.

Responsibilities

Bring innovative technology ideas to the team Contribute to system design and engage in design discussions within the team Identify skill gaps within the team and drive efforts to fill those gaps Identify opportunities for improvement and ways to automate or eliminate inefficiencies Exhibit ownership of components or initiatives owned by the team, driving execution following Engineering Practices, Solutions, Quality, and collaborating with key stakeholders Contribute to technical discussions across the organization, driving results and business outcomes Act as Analysis commander for incidents, driving actions for improvements within and outside the team Take on leadership roles like Scrum Master and Product Owner, driving engineering excellence and practices Adhere to and contribute to the formation of best practices within the team and Autodesk, as well as industry best practices Understand the platform-level impact of a change or solution Use sound judgement and reasoning when evaluating a solution or problem, considering its impact, with minimal or no supervision Actively participate in long-term strategy discussions, contributing to goal setting and roadmaps Produce quality output with minimal oversight Network with senior internal and external personnel in their area of expertise

Minumum Qualifications

Strong fundamental skills in software development Strong knowledge and command of key design principles and coding patterns Proficiency in C#, .Net, and WPF Familiarity with Git, Github, Jenkins, and Jira Receives little instruction on day-to-day work, and general instructions on new assignments Well-versed in the language/technology being used

Preferred Qualifications

Drive and passion to grow and excel individually as well as the product Exhibit a deep sense of ownership and drive to excel in a fast-paced environment
