Description

Team Lead - Design The Design Team lead oversees a team of Designers responsible for executing eLearning/online learning projects and providing creative direction, all while meeting customer-specific requirements. The team leader must be adept at delving deep into incoming requests and escalations, and effectively prioritizing tasks for the team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong grasp of various learning content formats such as microlearning, gamification, interactive videos, decision-making, mobile learning, and more.

Primary Skills -

  • Should have exceptional English communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Preferably from an art school background
  • Able to oversee the complete development cycle

Secondary Skills -

  • Capable of working well under pressure and handling tight deadlines
  • Keen eye for detail to conduct error-free build reviews

Responsibilities -

  • Manage end-to-end development and team operations; proactively engage in design processes and related tools, involving managers and stakeholders
  • Identify areas for process improvements and contribute to root cause analysis, with a focused approach
  • Assist in the implementation of new design processes to support business objectives
  • Initiate collaboration with peers, partners, and stakeholders to ensure top-notch quality
  • Regularly communicate with internal/external stakeholders using a data-driven approach/design rationale, while resolving issues with minimal guidance
  • Conduct a thorough review of the developed product

Skills -

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Flash/Animate, After Effects, Premiere, Adobe XD/InVision, 3D, and rapid development tools like Articulate, Captivate, and others
  • Strong leadership and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Training and mentoring fellow visual design team members
  • Project management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in design tools and knowledge of various platforms (desktop and mobile) are essential
