Job Title:
IT Infrastructure Manager

Position Overview:

A mid-level IT infrastructure and network manager responsible for overseeing the design,implementation, maintenance, and security of our IT infrastructure and networksystems.

Key Responsibilities:1.

Network Management:
Manage and maintain the organization's networkinfrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security

2 Infrastructure Planning:
Participate in the planning and design of ITinfrastructure upgrades and improvements to meet the organization's evolvingneeds

3 Hardware and Software Procurement:
Select and purchase hardware andsoftware components that align with the organization's goals and budget

4 Team Management:
Oversee a team of IT professionals, which may includenetwork administrators, system administrators, and support staff

5 Security Management:
Implement and enforce security policies and protocols toprotect the organization's data and network from cyber threats

6 Budget Management:
Manage the IT infrastructure and network budget, ensuringcost-effective solutions are implemented

7 Troubleshooting:
Troubleshoot and resolve network and infrastructure issuespromptly to minimize downtime and disruptions

8 Vendor Management:
Interact with third-party vendors and service providers toensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met

9 Documentation:
Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations,infrastructure diagrams, and IT procedures

10 Compliance:
Ensure that the IT infrastructure and network comply with relevantregulations and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO

Qualifications:

Education:
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such asinformation technology, computer science, or network engineering,is typically required. A master's degree may be beneficial but is notalways necessary.

Experience:

Mid-level managers usually have several years ofexperience in IT roles, including network or systems administration.5-7 years of relevant experience is common.


Certifications:
Industry certifications can be advantageous.
Examples include CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, MicrosoftCertified Azure Administrator, and ITIL (Information TechnologyInfrastructure Library) certifications.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in network protocols, hardware, andsoftware, as well as experience with virtualization, cloud computing,and network security technologies.

Management Skills:
Strong leadership, communication, and teammanagement skills are essential for coordinating IT teams andprojects effectively.

Problem-Solving Abilities:
The ability to analyze complex issues andfind practical solutions is crucial for troubleshooting and decision-making.

Business Acumen:
Understanding the organization's goals and howIT infrastructure supports them is important for making strategicdecisions.

Adaptability:

The IT landscape is constantly evolving, so a willingnessto learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends isimportant.
