Solution and Design Architect - Enterprise NetworkingExperience: 12+ years
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution and Design Architect specializing in enterprise networking, with expertise in a wide range of technologies including cloud, Cisco infrastructure, and Evolved Packet Core (EPC).
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of networking architectures, solutions, and best practices, along with hands-on experience in designing and implementing complex enterprise networking projects.
This role will involve working closely with clients to understand their requirements, architecting innovative solutions, and providing technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design:
Collaborate with clients to analyze their business needs and technical requirements, and design comprehensive and scalable networking solutions that leverage cloud services, Cisco infrastructure, and EPC technologies
Architecture Development:
Develop detailed network architectures and designs, encompassing cloud-based solutions, Cisco networking equipment, and EPC components, to address client objectives and ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability
Technical Consulting:
Provide expert guidance and advice to clients, sales teams, and project stakeholders on networking technologies, trends, and best practices, with a focus on cloud, Cisco infrastructure, and EPC solutions
Pre-sales Support:
Support pre-sales activities by participating in client meetings, solution presentations, and proposal development, and contribute technical insights and recommendations to enhance the value proposition of proposed solutions
Project Leadership:
Lead the implementation and deployment of networking solutions, working closely with engineering teams, project managers, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery within scope, schedule, and budget constraints
Quality Assurance:
Conduct thorough testing and validation of networking solutions to ensure adherence to design specifications, interoperability, and performance requirements, and address any identified issues or gaps
Documentation:
Create detailed technical documentation, including network designs, configurations, and deployment guides, to facilitate knowledge transfer and support ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting activities
Training and Enablement:
Provide training and knowledge transfer to internal teams and clients on implemented networking solutions, enabling them to effectively manage and operate the deployed infrastructure and leverage its full potential.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.12+ years of experience in solution architecture and design, with a focus on enterprise networking and expertise in cloud, Cisco infrastructure, and EPC technologies.
Proficiency in designing and implementing networking solutions using cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), Cisco networking equipment (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls), and EPC components (e.g., MME, SGW, PGW).Strong understanding of networking protocols and standards, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, MPLS, and LTE/5G protocols.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and troubleshoot complex networking architectures and configurations.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Relevant certifications in cloud (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect), Cisco (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CCIE), and EPC (e.g., LTE/5G certifications) are highly desirable.
