About the job

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Data Analyst at VMax Wellness in Coimbatore. The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for performing day-to-day data analysis tasks, including data modelling, data analytics, and statistical analysis. The role will also involve effectively communicating the findings and insights derived from the data analysis to various stakeholders within the company.

Key Responsibilities -

Data Analysis and Interpretation

  • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize data and support decision-making.
  • Perform statistical analysis to guide business strategy and operations.

Business Intelligence

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data requirements.
  • Create and implement BI solutions to improve business processes and performance.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to senior management.

Data Strategy and Governance

  • Ensure data quality and integrity across all data sources.
  • Develop and enforce data governance policies and best practices.
  • Lead data-driven projects and initiatives from conception to completion.

Advanced Analytics

  • Utilize advanced analytical techniques, including predictive modelling and machine learning.
  • Develop algorithms and perform data mining to extract valuable business insights.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in data analytics.

Mentorship and Collaboration

  • Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Sales ,marketing, and finance, to leverage data for business growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis or a related role.
  • Proven experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong proficiency in data modelling and Expertise in handling large datasets
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
