Position OverviewWe are looking for career-minded professionals with global perspective to join the Mumbai based Business Development Services team as a Consultant Database Specialist.
The role specifically supports the completion and maintenance of information in consultant databases for all asset classes.Information is entered on monthly & quarterly basis for strategies and funds for all strategies, for global and regional consultants.
Consultant Database Specialists work with firm systems, databases, and resources to source quantitative and qualitative data, complete drafts for review by investment strategy specialists, and help maintain strategy language in our database.
Members work in a fast paced, collaborative team environment.The successful candidate should have experience in or knowledge of the investment management industry, experience with consultant databases (eVestment, OMNI, Mercer, Morningstar, Albourne, PSN- Informa, Investmetrics, WTW, etc.) and Qvidian/Loopio/any additional proposal softwares.
Key ResponsibilitiesWork closely with a dedicated team of professionals whose primary responsibilities are to manage the consultant database effortsCompletion of questionnaires/databases, including compiling existing language, strategy set ups, review of quantitative data for accuracy, reviewing documents to ensure high quality, error-free final product and to ensure all databases are completed on a timely basisCo-ordinating with Investment teams and other responsible teams to get the responses added to databasesWork across the global IM Business Development teams located in North America, Europe, and AsiaContribute to ongoing quality and efficiency improvementsKey SkillsWorking knowledge of investment management industryGood Communication skillsExcellent project and time management skillsSuperior writing, editing and proofreading skillsAbility to focus on small details while maintaining larger pictureAbility to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and deliver outstanding work products under tight deadlinesPosition Requirements:Bachelor's degreeProficiency in MS Word and MS Excel, Experience with Qvidian/Loopio/any additional proposal softwares preferredMinimum of three years and Maximum of 5 years of industry experienceKey attributes include commitment, team spirit, and collaborationNotice period should be days (not 90 days)Level
