As part of the Digital Performance Engineering Team, you will be in charge of developing Tools and Products that will help teams across the enterprise solve for the performance engineering needs around Scaling, Monitoring, Continuous, Testing, Workload Modelling, Analysis. You will also be in charge of building, running and analysing tests for specific product areas.
About You:
Development Responsibilities:
Write and maintain high-performance code in languages such as Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot/Micronaut Working knowledge of Databases, Messaging systems, Metrics and Monitoring Develop and maintain automated testing scripts. Participate in code reviews with a focus on performance optimisation.Performance Testing Analysis and Optimisation:
Design, develop, and execute performance tests and analyse results to identify bottlenecks Working knowledge of one more of the performance test tools JMeter/Gatling/K6 Monitor system performance using APM tools like Zipkin, OTel etc Collaborate with development teams to identify performance issues and suggest improvements. Identify opportunities to Optimise code, database queries, and system configurations to enhance performance Conduct root cause analysis of performance issues and provide recommendations.Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers. Provide training and guidance to development teams on performance best practices. Communicate performance findings and recommendations to stakeholders.Documentation and Reporting:
Document performance test plans, test cases, and test results. Prepare performance reports and dashboards for stakeholders. Maintain documentation of performance optimisation techniques and best practices. Skills and Qualifications:

Ability to analyse complex systems and identify performance bottlenecks. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 1-4 years of experience in performance engineering and/or software development. Experience in agile development environments is a plus.Useful Links-
