Position:
Solar Project Designer

Location:

Responsibilities:

Design and Planning:

Develop detailed solar photovoltaic (PV) system designs for rooftop and ground-mounted installations, ensuring maximum efficiency and optimal energy production.


Site Assessment:
Conduct thorough site assessments to evaluate solar potential, shading analysis, structural integrity, and other relevant factors.

Technical Specifications:
Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and layouts for solar PV systems, adhering to industry standards and regulations.

System Optimization:

Utilize advanced software tools to optimize solar array layouts, considering factors such as tilt, orientation, and shading to maximize energy output.


Cost Estimation:
Collaborate with the project management team to estimate project costs, including equipment, labour and materials required for installation.

Client Communication:
Work closely with clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and present design proposals effectively.

Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance design processes and project outcomes.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
  • Proven experience atleast 34 years in solar PV system design, including rooftop and groundmounted installations.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, or similar design software.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and structural engineering principles.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
