JobOverview:

The Quantity Surveyor willbe responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual andfinancial side of construction projects. The ideal candidate willbe proficient in managing costs and budgets of projects ensuringthat the construction project is completed within its projectedbudget.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Prepare cost analysis based on the architectural drawingsengineering estimates materials required and laborinvolved.
  
• Work on value engineering and life cycle costing to reduce costsand improve value formoney.
  
• Manage and administer the contracts and agreements with the partiesinvolved in the constructionproject.
  
• Identifypotential financial or construction risks and develop riskmitigationstrategies.
  
• Prepare and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely andcosteffective sourcing of materials andservices.
  
• Manageand evaluate claims related to extensions of time loss and expenseand ensure they are in accordance with thecontract.
  
• Controlall stages of projects within predetermined budget andexpenditure.
  
• Coordinateand liaise with construction professionals such as site managersproject managers and siteengineers.
  
• Regularly update on the financial status of projects prepare andpresent detailed reports on project progress andbudgets.
  
  

RequirementsEssentialQualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying Construction Engineering Managementor a relatedfield.
  
• Professionalaccreditation from a recognized institution (e.g. RICS orequivalent).

Essential Qualifications and Skills: High school diploma orequivalent; a bachelor's degree in business or related field is aplus. Proven experience in sales, preferably in the audiovisualequipment industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in using billing and inventory management systems.Basic understanding of audiovisual equipment and technology.Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accuracy.
