MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (List in order of importance)

  • Provide secondary level (L2) support for production and developmental/test instances, focusing on optimizing system availability and scalability.
  • Strong technical expertise in SAP Hybris Commerce platform, covering configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.
  • Continuously assess site performance using monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
  • Plan and execute various maintenance tasks such as server upgrades, patching, and ensuring application functionality during maintenance windows.
  • Offer advanced technical support (L2) to address complex issues involving storage, performance, application functionality, and third-party API integration.
  • Identify and address potential security vulnerabilities in Cloudflare infrastructure to protect data and network integrity.
  • Conduct compliance checks on web servers, perform upgrades as needed, and manage databases.
  • Supervise code migration across environments for consistent functionality and validate enhancements and bug fixes via Jira.
  • Ensure SOX audit compliance for critical e-commerce systems, strategize solutions to mitigate SOX deficiencies.
  • Engage in change management procedures, including planning changes for the e-commerce system, securing approvals, and minimizing operational disruptions.
  • Collaborate with E-commerce platform vendors and third-party service providers to resolve issues promptly.
  • Thoroughly document E-commerce systems, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge transfer and accurately capture troubleshooting actions.
  • Timely response and resolution of incidents escalated from Level 1 support, adhering to SLAs and maintaining service quality.
  • Participate in projects for implementing new features, system upgrades, or migrations to ensure timely and within-budget delivery. Fulfill additional e-commerce duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Training, Experience and Certifications)

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in an enterprise-level corporate IT environment.
  • Minimum three years of experience in Linux Admin/Middleware Admin/Engineer roles or IT Applications and Technology Business Solutions.
  • Proficiency in Postman, Jenkin, New Relic, SQL, SAP Commerce Cloud portal, and Azure.
  • Ability to analyze technical data effectively and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Strong knowledge of Kibana, Kubernetes, AWS cloud, and Docker.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Those necessary to perform the job competently)

  • Proficient in Linux, SQL, Windows, and Middleware systems.
  • Experience with SAP Hybris Data Hub, Kubernetes, Kibana, Backoffice, storefront, and API concepts.
  • Preferred RHCA certification and familiarity with Dynatrace.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD methodologies, including Jenkins, AWS code pipeline, etc.
  • Experience with Jenkin, JBoss, Tomcat, Nginx, Apache, Java service, AWS cloud, Docker, and Azure is desirable.
  • Training in AWS Fundamentals.

ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL EFFORT (Under Typical Positions)

  • Preference for hybrid work arrangements, with varying days in the office and remote work.
  • Full-time office work is also an option.
  • Remote work possible, with occasional office visits encouraged.
  • Flexibility in work hours based on project needs.
  • Availability for weekends and on-call support on a rotational basis.
  • Company-provided computer with required remote work setup.
  • Comfortable work environment with focused lighting and ventilation.

  • No travel outside the local office is expected.
