Job Description:

We are looking for a talented Business Data Analyst with strong skills in SQL and experience in banking risk management to join our team. The ideal candidate will be essential in examining large sets of data, spotting trends, and offering valuable insights to assist decision-making processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct data analysis to detect patterns and anomalies related to banking risk factors.
  • Build and manage complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from different databases and sources.
  • Work closely with various teams like Risk Management, Finance, and Operations to grasp business needs and convert them into data analysis solutions.
  • Create and deploy data visualization dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI to effectively convey insights to stakeholders.
  • Perform impromptu analysis and offer data-driven recommendations to back strategic endeavors and risk mitigation actions.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory needs, and best practices in banking risk management to ensure compliance and enhance risk evaluation processes.

Requirements

  • BE/BTech/ME/MTech/MCA with a focus on computer science.
  • Minimum of 4 years of proven experience as a Business Data Analyst in the banking or financial services sector.
  • Proficient in SQL, capable of crafting intricate queries and enhancing database performance.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent.
  • Sound comprehension of banking risk management principles, methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical abilities to interpret complex data sets and produce actionable insights.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for seamless collaboration across teams.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to precision and quality in analysis.
  • Certifications such as Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) are a plus.
