Job Summary

This role will partner with the regional program controller and NPI team to support new business project launches, be involved in NPI gate reviews, monitor project financials, drive actions, and work with the team to achieve results that meet or exceed Pre-CER commitments.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work with site finance to develop/update project costing-based information and monitor project spendings for each NPI milestone.
  • Support regional program controller in calculating product costing through manually collected data until SAP is ready.
  • Run SAP new part number costing, identify gaps with quotation.
  • Send the current project data from SAP and collect real process data and mass production purchase price upon updating BOM from related parties.
  • Compare the variance between SAP, real cost and quotation cost, and provide gap list to Regional Program Controller.
  • Calculate the material inflation, deflation from quotation to now, check with alignment with customer, provide best estimation of future outlook about project profitability.
  • Support regional program controller to identify project financials difference vs Pre-CER commitments so that can drive related parties actions to fulfil the gap.
  • Other ad hoc tasks will be assigned.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • At least a bachelor's degree with major in finance.
  • Minimum 2 years of costing experience in manufacturing industry.
  • SAP CO and MM experience is preferred.
  • Finance, costing experience in an automotive manufacturing industry will be plus.
  • Cross-functional working experience is preferred.
  • Must have a business acumen and product costing understanding.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, and other MS Office products.
  • Project management knowledge/certification will be a plus.
  • Open-minded, enthusiastic, and flexible.
  • Capable to work under a great pressure environment.
  • Flexible to adapt different time zones globally.
