OverviewSeeking a skilled Cloud Engineer proficient in

AWS and Azure

to design, implement, and maintain robust cloud infrastructures. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in optimizing performance, ensuring data security, and managing virtual networks.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive successful cloud projects and a strong commitment to staying abreast of evolving cloud technologies are essential.

ResponsibilitiesSupport the business goals by assessing technical needs, recommending clear program and related project goalsProvide input related to industry trends, business and IT products and makes strategic and tactical infrastructure related recommendationsDeploy, configure and maintains systems on Amazon Web Services and Microsoft AzureSupport existing Cloud environments, monitoring health of environments using multiple enterprise tools, providing maximum system performance to users and sustaining system uptime standard.

Implements and validates monitoring in deployments.

Evaluate customer needs, troubleshoot as needed, also formulate capacity planning and performance recommendationsEvaluate issues reported or observed, utilizing problem solving skills and attention to detail to resolve problems quickly and effectively and to proactively prevent problems.

Escalate as needed.

Collaborate effectively with coworkers and other departments (Security, Networking, Data Protection, and Operating Systems) in support of customer environments, meeting the customers' needs quickly and effectively.

Provable experience with an understanding of core AWS ServicesLeast privilege policy designSystem administration skillsUnderstanding of DatabasesProficient in CloudFormation using YAML or JSONSolid understanding of basic networking principles, components, and terminology.

Command Line Interface experience in RHEL Linux and Windows Server 2016/2019 system administrationStrong ownership with a sense of urgency, and drive to launch servicesInitiative and problem-solving skills:

QualificationsBS Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related degree with

5 to 9 years of experienceTechnical experience with capturing requirements, system design, implementation and testExperience with System engineering/Architecture/Administration in a diverse and distributed environmentExperience developing and deploying apps into the


AWS and Azure public cloudIndividual should be comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced, startup-like environmentExperience in refactoring, rebuild, or redesign required during cloud migration activitiesEstablish a culture of ownership and accountability for Cloud success across all levels of the TRC Digital organization both operationally and fiscallyTechnical writing to document system and software requirements and designMust have excellent people, communication and presentation skillsExperience working in a virtual organizationCreating and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelinesKnowledge of common DevOps tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, Sonarqube and GithubStrong Windows Systems, Linux Systems, Network administration, and IIS administration skills.

Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors

Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
