About the Role:

Carpediem Capital, is a leading early-growth private equity fund manager is focused on the Indian consumption opportunity through investments in emerging SME leaders.

The Investor Relations Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting the Investor Relations team's initiatives, including lead sourcing and outreach.

This role involves close collaboration with our Investment, Operations, and Finance teams to compile investor reports, analyze fund data, and develop/maintain fundraising materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough market research with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Manage fundraising leads through a designated platform.
  • Document information and create comprehensive profiles of potential prospects.
  • Take the lead in organizing recurring fundraising events.
  • Assist the fundraising team in preparing for conferences and other events.
  • Enhance and refine fundraising materials.
  • Compile and design reports for our sourcing and screening processes.
  • Support the preparation of investor pitches.
  • Drive efforts in executing investor documentation including data entry.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:

  • Familiarity with entities and key players in the investing ecosystem.
  • Goal-oriented with a proactive approach to achieving high-bar objectives.
  • Strong work ethic with a willingness to go the extra mile during peak fundraising periods.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Process-oriented mindset.
  • Resourcefulness in finding information that may not be readily available.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Google Applications; experience with fundraising and constituency software preferred.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in the financial services industry.
  • Undergraduate degree; MBA or related advanced degree preferred.
  • Persuasive and polished communication skills, with a knack for networking.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a knack for synthesizing complex information.
  • Self-directed and proactive in completing projects accurately and on time.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to meet project deadlines.
