Summary:

ProSolar is seeking an energetic, self motivated individuals who can communicate effectively with potential customers and generate new business for the sales team. As a Solar Canvasser, you will be responsible for generating leads and scheduling appointments for our solar energy solutions. You will engage with potential customers in residential areas, educate them about the benefits of solar energy, and collect relevant information for follow-up by our sales team.

Essential Duties, Functions, and Core Accountabilities:

  • Have fun with weekly incentives, bonuses and regular team building events
  • Represent Pro-Solar professionally while communicating with and educating potential customers
  • Generate appointments using our proven process to educate customers about all the financial strategies of solar.
  • Qualifying homeowners for the solar energy programs
  • Meet individual production goals
  • Participate in our unique training to master your craft and build leadership skills
  • Engage with homeowners and educate them about the benefits of solar energy, including cost savings, financial benefits and environmental impact.
  • Schedule appointments with homeowners for our Solar Experts
  • Network and look for opportunities for engagement to build client base
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to solar energy.
  • Represent the company professionally in customer interactions and networking events.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Requirements, Education, Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

  • Proven experience in solar sales, canvassing, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to develop and execute effective canvassing strategies.
  • Knowledge of solar energy technologies and industry trends.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clean Driving Record with DMV, Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and insurability under company insurance policies.
  • Excellent communication, phone etiquette, professional and courteous disposition, and persuasive and results-oriented.
  • The ability to promote our brand to homeowners on the benefits of clean energy with integrity
  • Professional working attitude, good attention to detail, and reliable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
  • Comfortable and adaptable to working semi autonomously in various retail locations.
  • Motivated team players and a desire to learn all aspects of solar systems.
  • Ability to establish rapport, build relationships and loyalty with external and internal customers and coworkers, and remain tactful when communicating
  • Authorized to work in the US for any employer.
  • Can spell very well and learn "our brand and voice" quickly.
  • Must be able to pass a background, credit check, and drug screen as applicable
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the company regarding your activities, achievements, and challenges in the field.
  • Adhere to ethical standards, industry regulations, and company policies while representing the solar brand or company.
  • Maintain professionalism, integrity, and a positive brand image in all interactions with customers and partners.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed in an office environment, in vehicles for transit, and in all elements of weather and climate in outdoor settings.

  • Use of computer, phone, copier, and other office equipment in the course of a day
