We're currently in search of a DevOps Engineer specializing in SaaS Infrastructure and Uptime Ownership, with expertise in NodeJS and SQL, to join our team. Job Description:

We need a highly motivated and results-driven DevOps Engineer to ensure the high availability, scalability, and security of our SaaS infrastructure. As a hands-on engineer, you should have a successful track record of building and managing high-availability systems on AWS.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience with EC2 instances, Amazon RDS, Elastic Load Balancers, Route 53, multi-AZ deployments, Docker, and Linux (ubuntu).
  • Experience in seamless data, user, and infrastructure migrations.
  • Proven track record of maintaining a SaaS infrastructure with at least 99% uptime for a year.
  • Strong expertise in and SQL databases.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Accountability for infrastructure uptime and development.
  • Active involvement in security and compliance assessments.
  • Collaboration with the backend engineering team to develop APIs in NodeJS.
  • Immediate availability to resolve downtime issues during work hours.

Bonus Points:

  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI).
  • Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring tools like Prometheus or Datadog.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform).
  • Experience with Kubernetes.
