Digantara is seeking a skilled project manager to oversee the planning, execution, and management of Satellite projects that will enable its space-based SSA infrastructure. The company is building the world's first maps for space, Space-Mission Assurance PlatformTM (Space-MAPTM), which represents a revolutionary end-to-end infrastructure for sustainable space operations. This platform offers a comprehensive space situational awareness solution that simplifies and strengthens satellite operations amidst the rapidly expanding commercialization of space.We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in planning, monitoring, and implementing project tasks and timelines while effectively communicating progress to both internal and external stakeholders.Why Us?

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a detailed project plan with WBS, risks and mitigations mapped to track progress and plan for contingencies.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and third-party vendors to execute satellite projects within deadlines.
  • Collaborate with vendors to refine designs and build satellite payloads with the highest quality standards.
  • Actively build and maintain relationships with vendors supplying critical components to the project.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure project delivery on time, within scope and within budget.
  • Continuously optimize resource allocation to maximize productivity and project outcomes.
  • Ensure Standard practices and methodologies are practised and implemented across the teams
  • Measure project performance and adherence to standards using necessary tools and techniques.
  • Use appropriate verification methods to manage changes in project scope schedule and costs
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience as a Project manager or project administrator in the Space technology sector.
  • Proficiency in project planning, scheduling, generating WBS and risk management, with a specific emphasis on leveraging data insights for projects in the space or technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools and best practices.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and proficiency in project planning, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively prioritize and track task completion.
  • Understanding of data analytics and visualization tools and experience in leveraging data insights to drive project management decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate project progress, risks, and issues to diverse stakeholders.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
Preferred Qualities
  • Educational background in Electronics, Computer science or Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
  • Familiarity with space industry concepts, satellite technologies, and launch processes.
  • Knowledge of standards in the space domain, such as ECSS, and NASA is a big plus
  • Understanding of Product development lifecycles and experience managing Hardware and Software product development projects.
  • Ability to foster a collaborative and inclusive work culture.
