Role Overview:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Automation Test Engineer to join our team

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be proficient in creating and maintaining test scripts.
  • Be passionate about delivering highquality software products.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure the robustness and performance of our applications.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
  • Experience:
4+ Years of Proven work experience automating test cases for web applications.- Must have experience of creating different testing strategies and plans.- Proficiency with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, TestNG or similar.- Experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins, CircleCI or GitLab CI/CD.- Deep understanding of REST APIs and Web Applications.- Extensive experience in designing and implementing automated test frameworks.- Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) and CI/CD pipelines.- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.- Experience with API testing tools.- ISTQB or similar certification is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Automation Development:
  • Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts for various applications.
  • Identify test cases suitable for automation and enhance the existing automation framework.


Test Execution and Reporting:Execute automated tests, analyze results and report findings to the development team. Generate comprehensive test reports and documentation.

Framework and Tooling: Maintain and improve existing test automation frameworks and tools. Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance test automation.

Collaboration and Communication:Collaborate with developers and product manager to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Participate in design and code reviews to understand feature requirements and identify automation opportunities.

Continuous Improvement:Continuously improve the efficiency and coverage of automated tests. Stay updated with the latest industry and best practices in test automation.

Defect Management:Track, report and manage defects in a timely manner. Work closely with the development team to ensure defects are resolved efficiently.
