Responsibilities:

  • Define Performance Test Strategy Document: set approach, metrics, benchmarks, baseline, user response requirements environments, and toolsets to use in executing the performance testing.
  • Design, implement and maintain performance test frameworks.
  • Creation and execution of scenarios related to performance and scalability.
  • Partner with Senior Performance Engineers and developers to develop best practices.
  • Develop test execution scenarios for various types of tests such as load, stress, duration/endurance, and run tests.
  • Execute test, create, and publish Performance Test Result Report with recommendations on the quality improvement.
  • Defect root cause analysis.
  • Prepare and issue the opinion letter about the product/product component's readiness for go live to the customer.
  • Review and recommend improvements to existing test procedures.
  • Suggests new tools and techniques to improve testing efficiency.

Preferred Skills:

  • 5+ years of performance testing experience (including implementing performance testing from scratch or using tools such as JMeter, Load runner etc ).
  • Good experience with performance testing types: Load testing, Stress testing, Scalability testing, Spike testing, Volume testing, Endurance testing.
  • Good programming skills on any of the following program languages: Java/C#/Python.
  • Good knowledge and practical experience in JMeter/ LoadRunner/ Dynatrace or similar tool.
  • Knowledge of Memory/DB profiling tools.
  • Knowledge and experience with SQL and relational databases, authentication scenarios.
  • Experience scripting ecommerce (cart & checkout) scenarios would be important.
  • Nice to have experiences in Azure App Insights querying & analysis, Azure DevOps/CI.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Includes ability to interface with both nontechnical business and technical stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Process oriented and structured working style plus capable of handling multiple projects at the same time.
  • Strong communication skills collaborating with internal teams, enjoy collaborating across departments.
  • Comfortable with adapting to a fastchanging environment.
  • Experience from customizing technical implementation according to customer requirements and needs.
  • Comfortable with holding customer and partner presentations based on the results.
